  • Studied with Torleif Thedéen at the Stockholm Edsberg Institute of Music and continued his studies with Heinrich Schiff at the UDK in Vienna
  • Was nominated as ‘ECHO Rising Star’ in 2006 and subsequently played in many major concert halls in Europe and at Carnegie Hall in New York
  • Performed as a soloist with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Jesús López Cobos and Andrew Manze
  • Was part of the Zkvartett String Quartet, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbado
  • Collaborated with chamber music partners Amihai Grosz, Janine Jansen and Denis Kozhukhin during the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and Sion Festival, among others
  • Worked as a guest conductor with Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg, Queensland Symphony Orchestra
  • Was chief conductor of Dalasinfoniettan
  • Received the Herbert Blomstedt Conducting Prize in 2014
  • Plays a Vincenzo Panormo cello from 1791
