Especially for this anniversary edition, French-Swiss composer Richard Dubugnon wrote a new work for Janine and we are pleased and proud to present the world premiere of this work for solo violin, piano and string quartet at this festival. After the interval, we will hear glowing and warm sounds by Spanish composer Turina, who has created a special role for the viola in his sextet ‘Scène Andalouse’. Janine will join Denis Kozhukhin and Torleif Thedéen in an undoubtedly absolutely magisterial performance of Ravel’s wonderful piano trio, in which Spanish influences can also be heard, don’t miss it!
